Throughout the eight games, the Golden Grizzlies are put to the test physically and mentally. Each inning works as preparation for the battlefield that awaits them back in Rochester, Mich.

Although the games are challenging, the Oakland team continue to show up and play the game. They throw with accuracy and hit with power.

The Golden Grizzlies battled against their three SEC opponents. Although they did not emerge victorious, they entered conference play confident in their game as individuals and as a team.

They were challenged as they faced some of the top talent in the country. The team represented their school well and continued to display their love of the game through every inning – no matter the score.

Their hard work and determination against these three teams surely paid off. A month following their trip, the team would go on to dominate both the Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans for the first time in 10 years.
